A Ready-to-Deploy Alternative for the ABC Islands AURELIA is ready to establish an operational presence in Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao.
Today, these islands rely almost exclusively on expensive and unreliable air travel. Our ferry system offers a sustainable, dependable, and affordable alternative that reconnects the islands and strengthens regional cohesion.
With a public tender expected to launch in March and April 2026, we are actively engaging with local governments and authorities. Our objective is clear: demonstrate that a Net Zero aligned maritime solution is not theoretical, but ready for immediate implementation.


Smart Passage Planning Built Around Daily Life
Our operational concept is designed for community convenience rather than abstract timetables.
Curaçao to Aruba operates as a four-hour daytime connection.
Aruba to Curaçao runs as a twelve-hour overnight passage.
Curaçao to Bonaire is a two-and-a-half-hour daytime route.
This structure allows passengers to travel without losing working days, while cargo flows efficiently between islands.
Flexible Capacity results in accessible pricing
The system supports multiple configurations, from a 150 passenger day-deck layout to an 80 passenger arrangement with cabins and dedicated cargo space. This flexibility allows operators to adapt to seasonal demand and mixed-use requirements.

Our vessels are designed to remain independent from volatile global fuel markets while meeting long-term sustainability goals.
The propulsion concept combines the DYNARIG wind system with a smart engine running on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil. This hybrid approach delivers fuel efficiency, emissions reduction, and operational resilience.
Our patented hull design, developed and refined through more than twenty years of testing, enhances stability, efficiency, and passenger comfort, even in challenging sea conditions.
An Onboard Experience That Reflects the Region
Beyond transport, the ferry becomes a platform for local culture and commerce. The onboard experience is deliberately yacht-like, featuring restaurants that highlight local cuisine, event spaces for showcasing island products, and a casino operated in international waters. While in port, the vessel acts as an extension of the local economy rather than an isolated transit asset.
The Caribbean Continuum: Linking Other Islands
The Leeward and Windward Islands form a continuous chain of small islands, closely spaced yet rarely connected in a practical, everyday way. What appears as a gap in connectivity is not a limitation, but an opportunity.

Smart steaming strategies, including slow overnight cargo passages, ensure compliance with modern regulations while keeping remote communities connected and supplied.

The Pacific Extension: Fiji as a Regional Hub
The same system thinking is applied in the Pacific, where distances are far greater and infrastructure is often limited. In Fiji, AURELIA proposes a hub-based ferry solution with bulk cargo capacity and an onboard crane, enabling operation in ports with minimal facilities.
